Quick Hands, Quicker Minds!
This month's meeting on June 16th at Hilgers House will examine improv and how it can benefit your magic. Our own Dr. Gary, part of the Jokus Pokus improv troupe, will lead us in examining improv. We will learn to perform and adapt on the fly, helping us with comedy, adapting when things go wrong, and worst of all, hecklers. Join us for a night of laughs and fun as we participate in exercises of testing our newly learned improv skills.
Open Mic
Amaze us with your favorite effect or routine you are working on. Feel free to add some improv to your favorite routine, adding life to effects that have turned into routine magic. We will give each open mic performer a prompt that they can either disregard or take the challenge of adapting it into your routine!
Magic Around Austin
MagicProv was a success and the Fallout is excited to have us return soon! Also Magic Vs. Comedy was a great success and The Hole in the Wall will have us return soon as well! Watch our emails for updated information.
